*Job Overview*
Responsible for attending to the needs of all guests especially during check-in and check-out times.
You are often the first face a guest sees, so your role in the organization is critical.
*Essential Job Functions*
* Provide information to guests about policies, services and amenities
* Respond to guest requests for assistance
* Be knowledgable about local attractions and events so you can refer guests
* Process payments
* Sell rooms to "walk-in" guests
* Make over-the-phone reservations
* Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
* Mitigate guest concerns and complaints
* Be professional and courteous to all guests and other staff members
* Balance the cash drawer
* Make corrections to accounts and folios as necessary
* Ensure guest and staff safety at all times
*Additional Responsibilities*
Other duties may be assigned by Management.
*Qualifications & Requirements*
* Must be able to "own your shift" - solve guest problems as they arise so we can ensure their stay is enjoyable and seamless
* Communicate effectively with managers and other team members
* Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
* Be able to stand for long periods at a time
* Be able to type, answer the phone and utilize our PMS system (OnQ)
* Be organized and time efficient
WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS!
