Summary
CHS, Inc Southwest Grain is looking for an enthusiastic full time Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team.
You’ll play a crucial role as the face and first point of contact for our organization.
Other responsibilities include assisting customers with queries on the phone or by email, preparing, organizing and storing confidential information and other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, is personable, organized and is versatile.

Responsibilities
Performs more complex administrative duties as directed or needed.
Manage multiple projects of a complex nature and prioritize work to meet all required timelines.
May help manage complex projects.
Effectively and professionally communicate with all levels of the organization.
Create and update board agenda's monthly for two business units.
Coordinate various meetings, arrange venues and ordering food.
Generate correspondence and other documentation.
Ability to work with various management staff across multiple product lines which includes grain, agronomy, energy and feed.
Establish, build and maintain relationships with other administrative staff providing back-up functions.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality working with sensitive and priority information.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Manage registration and licensing of fleet vehicles.
Generate operational or accounting reports for management review.
Provide excellent customer service in a friendly and helpful manner.
Greet and direct visitors, respond to routine questions and provide general information.
Display professionalism to create a positive first impression.
Direct incoming calls or messages to proper location.
Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
2+ years of experience in Administrative Assistance and Support
High School diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications
Proficient in MS Office suite
Proficient with telephone systems, fax machines, postage machines and copiers
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure materials
Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
