Join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist and be the driving force behind connecting exceptional individuals with exciting opportunities within the North Dakota Department of Transportation.
As a key player in our recruitment team, you'll be responsible for tracking request-to-fill forms, monitoring current job openings, and collaborating closely with supervisors and administrative assistants to ensure seamless vacancy requests and postings.
Your creativity will shine as you compose and post engaging job announcements, incorporating EEO hiring goals and the latest job description information.
You'll be a crucial part of the evaluation process, developing matrices and working closely with hiring teams to ensure accuracy.
Your attention to detail will be showcased as you send personalized electronic letters to unsuccessful candidates, including composing letters to our valued veterans.
The excitement doesn't stop there – you'll play a pivotal role in managing the recruitment board and employee count, coaching hiring managers on talent acquisition processes, and reviewing hiring justifications.
You'll be the go-to person for answering calls and emails from potential applicants, providing guidance on the process, scoring, and interviewing.
Your organizational skills will shine as you review job postings, perform final reviews for completeness and compliance, and approve postings for PeopleSoft.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll not only be part of the hiring process but also play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to compliance.
Coordinate background check processes with BCI, ensuring thorough record retention for inactive employees in adherence to company policies and legal mandates.
You'll be the point person for inputting applicant information into reports and sending monthly queries to federal clearinghouse contacts.
To be successful in this position, we are looking for someone with attention to detail, great organizational skills, and prior experience with Human Resource Information System and Applicant Tracking System.
Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this position, you must possess a minimum of three years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, or a related field.
Additionally, educational background in areas such as business administration, business management, or Human Resource Management will be taken into account as equivalent experience on a year-for-year basis.
Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process, criminal history check, and a verifiable record of satisfactory performance in previous employment.
