Summary of Work At the North Dakota Department of Transportation, we owe our success to our Team and processes.
The Administrative Assistant in our Civil Rights Division will be the supportive force and an integral team member, keeping mailroom and printing operations organized and efficient.
The ideal person for this position will be a problem solver who has the ability to work independently and as part of a team, has excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
We are looking for an assistant who can guide and support NDDOT by managing all aspects of our mail and print operations.

Primary duties associated with this position are as follows: Receive, sort and process incoming and outgoing mail including freight.
Create and manage workflows for all printing requests.
Research and analyze bid specifications for all outside printing.
Consult with customers, graphic artists, and the printers when questions arise.
Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot equipment, including copiers, printers, postal metering, postal scale, folding machine, and other mailing and printing equipment.
Process and reconciliation of billing and invoices, purchase orders and vouchers.
Requisition and inventory supplies.
Forms and Records Manager.
Minimum Qualifications Requires an associate degree with major coursework in office support or business or office education and two years of experience performing a variety of complex office support, clerical or secretarial work.
Additional work experience as described may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process, reference and background checks.
