The job of Student Performance Specialist is done for the purpose of providing training and technical assistance to secondary schools in the implementation of evidence based practices i.

Check and Connect.
This job reports to the Director of Student Support Services.
Collaboratively work with school ISF teams to collect, analyze and interpret data related to student and system needs and progress.
Provide support, guidance and technical assistance to School Based Tier One Teams with the ongoing implementation of district approved evidence based practices.
Provide support guidance and technical assistance to School Based Tier Two Teams with the ongoing implementation of district approved evidence based practices.
Coordinate the development of reteach lessons for ISS.
Provide technical assistance with provision of reteach and data collection in regard to student uses.
Coordinate the implementation of Check and Connect at High School Level
Restorative Conferencing support for secondary schools.
Attend Student Assistance team meetings to provide data analysis and provide technical assistance with implementing district SAT guidelines and processes.
Other Functions
Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring effective implementation of an integrated system framework

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

Work Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, and significant fine finger dexterity.
Generally the job requires 60% sitting, 20% walking, and 20% standing.
This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
Experience: Job related experience with implementing multi-tiered systems of support (Check in/Check Out, Groups, Recognition Systems, Core SEL, Etc.
)
